Miss Universe Canada Delegate 2012

The finals are being held in Toronto from May 11-20th, 2012 with the final show being held on May 19th. I am so excited and thrilled to be apart of the Miss Universe Canada 2012 family and the SOS Children’s Villages charity which Miss Universe Canada closely works with. I hope that May 19th will be a life changing day for me and the others around me with whom I hope to inspire!

The reason why I want to be considered for Miss Canada is because I want to create lasting change for myself and for others by doing everything in my capabilities and to follow through with all the best that I can. I want young women and men to have a role model they can relate to and be inspired by and know that they too can have the achievement of making a difference. I would also love to share my passion of art and education with the youth of our generation. Whether it maybe making art from garbage, playing soccer with a coconut on a dirt road, or singing songs from different cultures and I may not be able to talk speak their language but teaching and learning is inhibited in every little movement, gesture, word, sound, touch and taste. Travelling to third world countries and to visit children and teach is one of my dreams that I want to accomplish. It would be amazing to see a child’s face light up from the happiness of just being there offering them a piece of the world that you can share with them.
